Murdock, the snapping couch turtle!

I swear sometimes I wonder if I should have named him Spike… He totally reminds me of that mean little gremlin, just without the mohawk. His personality isn’t like that, but this facial expressions are!

Boys..Boys..Boys..

Oh they crack me up!

Ohhh boy…Here we go!

I have wanted one of these dogs for a long time… I guess be careful what you ask for!  Murdock “the cinder block” is going to keep me busy for sure!  He’s an almost 7 week old Bullmasador (bullmastiff/labrador mix), and he is ALL PUPPY!   The day we brought him home, he was already going for every piece of furniture we have to get his sharp teeth around!  What a little cuddle bug though!  He has all the qualities of the labrador so for, but the features of the bullmastiff… I adore him and he was well worth the flight to Nebraska to pick him up!

The best puppy ever!

I swear on everything I own, that we have the best puppy ever! We got Rosco from Arizona, and I am still amazed at how smart and easy he has been so far…(I could regret saying this though now that I have actually put out into the world!, but I doubt it)… He is 5 1/2 months right now, and is a gorgeous American Labrador. He’s smart, sweet, loving, and actually hasn’t ripped our house to shreds yet. Let’s hope we can keep him this way for awhile.

My best friend…

I am the luckiest girl on the planet to have such a wonderful man in my life. I am enjoying every minute of sharing memories with him. :)

They own my heart

These two kids are my world! Even if they DO live up to every stereotype about red-heads, I can’t imagine the world without them!

Google+

Thank you Mom, for publishing this great blog!

Are you wondering what all the buzz is about? Don’t tell me you’re one of those people whose response is, “Nahhh, I’ve already got Facebook. One social networking platform is enough.” Trust me, you’ll change your mind once you see how cool it is!!!  Google+ has all the best features of Facebook and Twitter PLUS more. Lots more.

“Circles” makes it very easy to manage your various groups of circles of friends, family members and acquaintances and keep them separate from each other. (A person can be added to more than one circle.) This allows you to read and share content with either everyone or just a specific group (circle) of people. For example, you may only want to see what your close friends are doing and saying right now, and not those “others” who have asked to be your friend but you don’t really know all that well, and could care less what they are up to. And you may only want to share a photo that you snapped of Uncle Bob snoozing/drooling with your circle of family members and not your business associates. Or you may only want to talk about a wild party you went to and share some videos you took of it with your circle of friends and not (heaven forbid) your parents, grandparents or business associates. With Google+ it’s a snap!

“Hangout” is a very cool feature. You can do a group video chat with up to 10 friends or business associates, at once! Facebook recently added video chatting, too, but it’s limited to one-on-one video conversations. (Probably because Skype charges a monthly service fee for their group video chat option.)

“Sparks” gives you quick access to articles on things that spark your interest, such as Cycling, Fashion, Movies, Recipes, etc. You can add/save new Sparks, such as “Goldendoodles” and it will bring up all kinds of articles that you may enjoy reading.
Much like Twitter, you can also “Follow” people you don’t know, but whose posts you find interesting. I like that.

Here are a couple videos to show you what to expect from your Google+ experience:

Google+ has a limited membership right now and you can only join via an invitation. Drop me a note if you’d like me to send you one! And if you already have a Google+ account, let me know so I can follow you or add you to one of my circles.
